Privacy Policy

In the internet age everyone seems to feel that they have a right to know everything about everyone else. We strongly disagree. We feel that everyone has a right to keep their private* life private (unless they choose to make it public) and that no one has a right to know who you are, where you are or what you’re doing. Because we take privacy seriously, we take your privacy seriously.

  1. We will not share, sell or in any way distribute your personal information. Your personal information will not be used in any way that is not directly related to communicating with you about your work.
  2. We only keep personal information from authors we publish and only for the purpose of contacting them about work published by GSR.
  3. Your personal information is stored by Wufoo.com on their secure servers.
  4. We do collect statistical data about our visitors. We do not collect data that can be linked directly to you or used to identify you in any way. We only use this data to help us visualize how you use and how we can improve GSR.
  5. When you leave a comment, your email address and IP address are stored. This allows us to distinguish real people from spambots, commentbots and linkbots. It allows us to block known malicious IP addresses from accessing GSR and to block malicious or inappropriate individuals from leaving comments. We do not share this information. We do make every effort to keep this information secure.
  6. Turning off JavaScript in your browser or refusing to accept “cookies” will not effect your ability to view GSR. Some features on the site may act differently, but they will continue to function.
