Snow-Birds settling
Made all the difference

She thought of their
Settling

And of the light they gave

And became in her way

As grey
As they

Dretta, a delight to read your poem. Your use of repetition makes the poem emotionally effective. Thanks for sharing.

Gretta,
I am not a new fan of your work. When I see your name, I know it will be good. Better than others. One of the best. Wish there were a superaltive of the 4th order. Today, I see Chen-ou-Liu got here first. This is a poet whose work I see in a lot of places –– someone whose “delight” is a coup for anyone afflicted with the presumption to have written something worth reading. Brava.

The peace and light of the greyness is lovely, thank you.
